Overview

PlusPAD is a tool similar to the PADGen tool created by the ASP (Association of Shareware Professionals). Its main purpose is to help developers create their PAD (Portable Application Description) Files. The PAD files represent a standard way to present a software together with all the necessary information regarding authors, contacts, compatibility, and so on. The fact that the PAD file is presented in an XML format and can be placed on a web page offers extreme powers to the developers allowing them to syndicalize the information about their products without effort.
