Any tool window that is a part of the model and doesn't have any specific restrictions regarding the floating mode can become a floating window. The same stands true for tabs in a tabbed tool window. Floating can be achieved either by dragging and dropping a window in a floating location, by double-clicking the window or by using the integrated context menus. Double-clicking the caption of the floating window will result in it being redocked to its previous position. The floating location and size can be customized for each window and the system can remember on request the last floating position for any future floating requests.
